The factory fit cubby box is no longer available to buy from Land Rover so the Britpart Cubby Box makes a good alternative product if you’re looking to replace or install a cubby box in any classic Defender.
The High ‘Chubby Box’ version features an extra deep padded lid that adds an additional 80mm of height to the lid for added comfort (compared to the factory cubby box).
There is nothing to stop you combining the High Chubby Box Locker with any of the MUD locker products but we advise you measure the combined height of the products.
The Britpart Cubby box is slightly longer than the factory fit cubby box so provides extra storage space in the Defender interior.

The cup holder insert provides storage for a pair of mugs, cans etc.
The Britpart Cubby Box base is supplied without any fixing holes. This allows you to drill the base of the cubby to match whatever pre-existing fixing holes are in your Defender. The Cubby box fixes into the base plate between the seats.

Note: Unfortunately, our MUD Cubby Box Tray IS NOT compatible with Britpart Cubby Boxes because of the different hinge and check strap designs between the Britpart product and the OEM cubby box.
