Tech Note:
- Ford Trucks with OEM 10.5" gears will use MKF10.5, MKF10.5 will not work with any aftermarket gears.
- Ford Trucks with OEM 10.25" gears will use MKF10.25.
- 10.25" gears can be used in place of 10.5" gears if using the 'long pinion' 10.25" gears.
- 10.25" trucks came with both a 'long' and a 'short' pinion option.
- 10.25" 'short pinion' gears can only be used in 10.5" housings with a short yoke.
